What payment methods can I use?
You may use any of the following: Pre-Authorized, MasterCard, Visa, Automated Phone Banking, Invoice, Online Advantage.
Where can I pay my bill?
You may pay your bill in person at any bank or financial institution, by online banking or at a Bruce Telecom store. You may also return your bill with a cheque payable to Bruce Telecom.
Why did my first bill arrive so soon after I signed up?
Bruce Telecom charges one month in advance for Internet service.
Why is my overage charge from two months ago on my current bill?
Bruce Telecom Overage charges are actually 2 months behind. (i.e.- when you receive May's bill it will reflect March's overage charges)
What are "OTHER CHARGES" on the bill?
These are either partial month charges or Internet overage charges. Internet overage charges are identified as "Internet Overage Charges (Hours of Internet Use) - Month - Amount".
Why is my first bill for more the 30 days?
Bruce Telecom prorates the first month charges if service is requested mid month. This prorated amount is reflected on the first bill along with the advance month payment.
What is the Bruce Telecom billing period?
Bruce Telecom processes bills monthly. Internet access is billed one month in advance and the overage is billed after the use has been identified and is billed two months in arrears.
How can I register my Internet payment with phone or online banking?
The customer must register using his/her Bruce Telecom Internet "ACCOUNT NUMBER". This 8 digit number is found on the loweer right hand side of your bill beside the words "Account Number".
